Holiday

There is a lot to do over the winter holiday season. So much preparation - cooking, shopping, cleaning, and of course, the zebra's annual bath.

Acrylic paint on a 10 x 8 inch board.

This, I think, is one of my favorites! The zebra looks just right in the bathtub..very op-art against the bright colors. I love the feet on the tub too! I hope you had a splendid holiday and that the zebra's annual bath went well. Best wishes for a Happy and Healthy new year:>

This is terrific. I love zebras; they are so interesting to anyone who sees and thinks graphically. I did a zebra piece this time last year...it even had a checkerboard floor as does yours. Happy New Year!

Ooh er. My first view of your blog and I like it. "Remote" is wonderful. I'll keep an eye out on what goes on in here.

Your use of yellow is so profound in the last few works anyway. Very silly and what a great way to start to the new year! everyone needs their zebra clean. Happy New Year to you.

As said before, you have great work, I like what you are doing, beautiful color combination and so adventurous motives. It is nice to see something so touching, relating to someone out there. Simple and strong, just love your style!

I like the expression on the zebra's face - looks like its enjoying its bath... and what a great bath! (I hope the zebra hasn't noticed that the bath has claws... )

Only an annual bath? I thought they bathed at least twice a year.

Love it!

Yay! This one is probably my all-time favorite! the colors are beautiful, the composition is lovely. i love the tail draped over th edge like the towel is.
my zebra wasnt NEARLY as cooperative when i mentioned the holiday bath. there was much breying, kicking and protesting. eventually we settled on a steam bath and a vigorous jog around the grounds.

I missed this... An annual bath whether he/she needs it or not! I can't imagine any flavor holding a candle to a zebra in the bath tub.
