Imagine

This was a great topic because there are no limits to the imagination.
My idea was to paint penguins on a tropical beach. (penguins, rhinos, zebras and giraffes are some of my favorite animals to draw). Well, as often happens, the painting evolved into something quite different from what I had initially imagined.

Acrylic paint and ink on an 11 by 14 inch board.

Your imagination is limitless! I like how the penguins appear to be enjoying the warmth. Think this is also another Universe :)

These are penguins of an entirely different color! They look as if they are hanging around with giant oranges. I must agree with anonymous - your imagination is limitless and unafraid to go wherever it wants. As always, an intiquing subject and beautiful colors:>

Amazing as always. You do something with the colors and textures that I don't even understand. Again, I'm in awe.

You have such a sense of humour in your paintings, yet you still paint them equisitely - a wonderful combination!

The tonight show had animals from 5 continents on stage at the same time: Penguins, Otters, Reindeer, Kangaroos, Arctic foxes. THEY all got along!!!
And your favorite/fauvist colors ARE inspiring.

Just rented March of the Penguins with the family last week. When I think of them huddled en masse against the snowstorms, I don't think they can imagine a world like you've created. This one and all the others as I scroll down the page use such amazing and rich colors! Whoa.
I agree with you, the art sorta goes off on its own, away from where you originally intended, huh.

I just adore your combination of colours. It is so alive this one is just as great as since last friday. It is fun to imagine contrary things.
