Nice piece!
I've been missing a little bit IF but I'll try to be more constant. :)
Greetings,

Great perspective here, Jamie! I noticed that you actually use chairs a lot in your paintings...what kind of creature is the little guy sitting on the chair in this one? I love your imaginative entries!

I've never been here before. Your colors and compositions are so striking and warm simultaneously. That's hard to pull off. Great stuff.

Love the colours and the characters - I feel that you must have enough for quite a long picture book by now.

Is it just me or is the ukelele-roo getting more colorful? Are those feathers on its side?

The Blue Lady is very artistic!

You have revealed the secret of the blue lady! Her little friend is so cooperative to sit for his portrait, especially with so much delicious fruit around to eat. You have really created a fabulous (in all senses of the word) series with the blue lady and friend...I'd love to see little thumbnails all lined up:>

The aardvark is back... this time gettng a portrait done. Great illustration again! Thanks for the comments on my Blackie with chair thing. No, it's not watercolor... all digital (Photoshop), with the exception of the overlying sketch layer (scanned from, yes, my actual sketch). I'm jealous of all the talented traditional artists at IF, such as you. Again, wonderful work here.

Saw your note on Lyn's Whippy Curly Tail post....digital photography is fun & easy.

Get Photoshop Elements software, under $100.00
Easy to use and so much fun...go straight to the filters and play.

LOVE your artwork.
So vivid.

Smooch,
The Tart
