This has such a lovely transparnt, gkazed look...I love how your colors are so strong and transparent at the same time. Beautiful!

I love your work. This proves to be both unsettling and very compelling, I love the transparency of the animal.

Transparent as excuses stands a girl,
hiding nothing; even doors have ghosts.
Her friend before is more ephemeral
than his mistress; watchful at his post

but disregarding us, his gaze elsewhere.
And she too stares, so probably her eyes
alight beyond, as though we are not there.
No; we are here, as intimate as spies -

our world must open here, or why the view
of beast and mistress, waiting at the door,
insouciant as angels, calling you?
Or maybe not; just waiting, evermore.

Very cool! I love how the colors are reminiscent of your usual pallette, but much more subtle. The transparency is a great touch.

The colors, the look-that glazed vibrant energy-wow. Two ghosts with more vitality than the living they seem to be conveying. A beauty and great take on 'ghost', and I love the BOO address on the door!

The layering works wonderfully for this topic. Very enigmatic. I love that.

Kept the enlarged version up on my monitor for a long time... Both subjects are haunting, but the direct gaze of the woman makes her especially so. I agree with Amy Z... your palette, while always very rich, is more subdued here, perhaps in keeping with the subject matter. Gotta go back and look some more. Beauty.
