Delightfully designed tea set! Your Blue Lady melts into her surroundings :) Hope the cat is a leopard and not a cheater who cheats by drinking all the tea and eating bikies when she isn't looking :) Divine colours!

Turtle tea? Gorgeous - it looks like the teapot has a life of its own, whereas the leopard is so still and regal. This one is up there with my favorites...well, I guess they're all my favorites, but this one is extra!

Fantastic teapot and I'm getting attached to that cheetah! Your palette is always so fresh and full of punch.

I love the animal that seems to be part of the blue-faced lady... is she a shape-changer?

Thank you all for your very kind and encouraging comments.
I bought a miniature Kelvin Chen teapot in Hawaii a few years ago, and that's what I used for the design of the teapot. Mine is only about 3 inches high and it's handpainted enamel over copper.

As with stars, I juxtaposed the planes
made constellations out of glints of light
I saw through half-closed eyes that sunny day,
but even then, I'm sure I saw it right:

A big cat, sitting down with you to tea,
(a glint of sun flashed from the teapot's glaze?)
And you, and just two cups, and none for me.
You seem to do quite well, that way, these days.

- sombre, for such a charming picture, but there you go :-)
